Catherine Kinkade is an accomplished landscape painter. A Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America, she also works in oil, and monotype, and has exhibited all over the world. Her commissioned landscapes are in dozens of corporate and private collections including Tiffany, AT&T and Exxon. A founder of Viridian Print Studio, she is Artist in Residence at Van Vleck Gardens in Montclair NJ, and has taught for many years at the Montclair Art Museum.

"Kinkade’s landscapes explore quiet places in a manner that looks both familiar and abstract, leaving room for the viewer to explore the invisible. A soft, even light illuminates the surface, lending a dream-like idealism to a realistic rendering". Mary Abell, ARTSPEAK"

A contemporary American painter working in the Taoist tradition of landscape painting, (Her) work bridges East and West... the invisible made visible through paint" Kristen Park, TCM World Newspaper
